Greetings from the United States. I am interested in purchasing a gaff rigged cutter from the UK in the near future. The U.S. designs for shoal draft boats do not appeal to me. It will be garage kept. Please convey the trailered height, length and width of the Cornish Shrimper 19 & 21. I am also considering the Cape Cutter 19 and Norfolk Gypsy 20. I wish to get as much boat possible. I found a folding tongue useful on my other boat. Alternative mast storage is also an option. I wish to use the boat for Mobile Bay, the coastal Gulf, and perhaps a trip to the Dry Tortugas or Bimini during a good weather window. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Jason

My mistake on the above post asking for the Cornish Shrimper dimensions. I have asked on their forum. I received word the Cape Cutter is 7ft 6in tall on their standard trailer. I'm thinking the Norfolk Gypsy will be too tall for my garage opening which is 7ft 9in tall. The Gypsy is such a beautiful boat which deserves serious consideration. Please convey the Gypsy dimensions when on a trailer. Sincerely, Jason

Hi Jason - just seen your message! my Gypsy takes 2.5 metres of headroom to enter my barn - on a standard single axle road trailer, mast lowered in tabernacle, masthead resting on mainsheet horse on stern. The highest point is the foot of the mast. You might just squeeze under an 8 foot bar if you deflate the tyres, take the mast out of the tabernacle, etc!! cheers Rob NG 60 Mora
